Three top most hated tech jobs

Written by Deepa on 09/02/10

Here's a glimpse on the three top most hated tech jobs !

1. Internet Content Moderation can be a nightmare , this might be particularly interesting to those who write everyday on the internet.

Think of the most disgusting things you've stumbled across online. Ironically demand for the work is growing, This gets more tedious if your job is routine filtering across the world wide web .

2. Electronics Assembly : This is another dreaded tech job and encompasses a lot of pressure. Loosing a prototype or frenzy over assembling devices such as iPhones, iPads, and other electronics from Apple, Dell, and HP, has been accused of fostering "sweatshop" conditions at recurringly since they seem to be working under extreme conditions. This hold ...

Would Dell outshine HP eventually ?

Written by Deepa on 08/19/10

While Asia has been largely contributing to PC growth and eventually the success stories of PC vendors, the growth might just seem to slow down where it comes to consumer sector. There just might be a slight reshuffle wherein Dell seems to outwit HP on account of its focus on the enterprise segment . This is reflected in the quarter earnings and Dell's figures might just look better than that of HP.

Wherein HP gets a large chunk of its revenue from the consumer sector, Dell accounts for major business revenue from the corporate sector.

We just expect that a gradual corporate PC upgrade cycle and Dell’s execution and share gains in the x86 server market might just settle down well. HP's earnings might just have showed the decline on ac ...

Written by Deepa on 07/23/10

Facebook it seems has managed to draw more than 500 million users and has become a power to reckon on the internet.. Whilst its such a wonderful platform to reconnect with friends and old pals, however; privacy concerns, frequent changes to the website, and commercialization and advertising adversely affect the consumer experience. So some us have been appreciating it a lot for its "party on the Virtual mode". At the same time, there seems to be some major glitches on privacy policies which is turning out to be the linchpin towards people beginning to opt out of the same.

many people are not appreciating the fact that they are no longer safe on Facebook in terms of privacy violation and the number of fake entries that are dominating the ...

The online industry has a new buzz word in its portfolio and that is MVAS.

India being an emerging destination, we have an estimated CAGR of more than 50 percent in India's MVAS industry and a rough approximate to India's mobile VAS industry surging to about US$348.8 million market.

With the launch of 3G and mobile broadband services later this year, the mobile value added services (VAS) industry is expected to ring in a turnover of Rs 1,00,000 crore by 2020.

The backbones of the same would be an emerging ecosystem and rich consumer demand leading to rapid development and adoption of MVAS content within the country.

Whats even more noticeable is a rapid decline in tariffs and the commoditization of mobile phone voice serv ...

Microsoft to create unexpected hits

Written by Deepa on 07/23/10

Well well !! Microsoft suddenly seems to be extremely generous to its world wide team, we hear that every employee would get a Windows Phone 7. Is it a some kind of attention inviting stunt or Microsoft is genuinely interested to create some unexpected hits or just create a ripple in the market using the energy from Microsoft’s enormous pool of internal developers.

Microsoft seems to go back to its all terrains, which we call back to basics.

And that was primarily testing there products as freebies inviting first hand feedbacks from their developers who are so smart that they claim to be bringing about the best tools and practices. Especially the applications such as the one for iPhone.

There is a lot to learn from Google and Appl ...

HP to hold its Horses on Android based Tablets

Written by Deepa on 07/16/10

Insiders have it that Android-based tablet from HP has been postponed. The purchase of Palm earmarked the sizzling saga on the said Android based tablet from HP.

However things seem to be upside down with HP seemingly dusting its hands off the Android tablet Project. We hear HP suddenly using terms like delayed, shelved, tabled, or postponed for the Android tablet plans.

HP started off the year intent on joining the tablet revolution but it seems iPad's precision and perfection had it rethink about its proposed strategy.

No wonders many established players opted out , those of us who are still thinking might just recall Microsoft's courier.

As a matter of fact even LG backed off it's Windows 7 based UX10, it displayed at Compu ...

And you thought Gmail is the safest ?

Written by Deepa on 07/14/10

Well many of us blindly trust our Gmail for our daily chores thinking that we are totally immune to hacks and spam threats.

however we need to change the way we think, Gmail is no more secure and could be a vulnerable victim to phishing scams .

whats even more concerning that your email contacts could be misused only through false sign up requests and cookies installed to rake up your sensitive information.
so next time you get a request in your inbox seeking access to your contacts, think again as it could be a hoax.

We have seen such instances happening on Yahoo very frequently but Gmail seems to be a complete surprise.

The hackers are just waiting out there to get into your account and get access to your password . This coul ...

Would Steve Ballmer survive at Microsoft ?

Written by Deepa on 07/09/10

Microsoft has been ruling the roost as a predominant player and has been a trendsetter hitherto. However it seems that the exit of Bill Gates has proved to be a bit fatal for the company in terms of the innovation it brings about to its products.

Not to miss the fact that Kin that has been an instant flop and even the Windows 7 phone is not being heard of creating as much ripples.

Has Microsoft forgotten the art of invention on new and competing products .
We were so excited about the Tablet that Microsoft was supposed to float in the market which was christened "Corier" but the project was scrapped or may be postponed .

This was most assumed to be a threat that loomed when Apple launched ipad.

So is it that Microsoft needs har ...
