Nintendo, a giant in Video game prepares to introduce a video channel for its Wii console.
In collaboration with Dentsu, an advertising agency, Nintendo will introduce the video channel services to its gaming console Wii. These services initially are marked for availability in Japan. The services will launch in the mid half of 2009.
The plans to offer these video services in other markets is still under consideration.
The services will have a family interaction theme thereby offering family-oriented content. This will be one more initiative from Wii's side to push family relations one step ahead.
According to the figures cited by company, a total of 34.6 million Wii consoles have been sold out.Nintendo's opponents like Sony PS3 have already started the video services but the former offering a little bit different in its original-content focus.

AMD II Phenom chips that are expected to be announced next month at CES event are already on sale by many retailers, thus leaking the specifications that were till time under the veils.
Two new quad core Phenom II processors are aimed at high end desktops and will be shipping on December 27 as cited by many retail sites.
Both the quad core chips run at speeds ranging form 2.8GHz to 3GHz. They also include 8MB of cache. Both the quad core processors are capable of overclocking.
The chips are priced differently at different retailers. AMD's phenom II X4 940 quad-core processor is available at different retailers different prices ranging from $304 to $373.Â
The other chip, Phenom II X4 920 is priced at ranging from $271 to $314 for different retailers.
For now, quad core chips have support for DDR2 memery but soon they will be upgraded to support DDR3 memory by introducing the new AM3 socket.

Research In Motion has registered revenues and earnings more than what was expected by analysts. The financial reports cite that RIM's earnings have climbed almost 7% in its Third Fiscal Quarter. Â
It is expected that strong growth in RIM earnings are backed by the strong market and consumer demands for new BlackBerry gadgets. Recently, RIM has launched BlackBerry Smart Flip and BlackBerry Storm to lure users and to give tough competition to Apple's 3G iPhone.
But as far as the market reports are concerned, they indicate that the demand of RIM's new product line is going stronger enabling the revenue growth rate from 75% to 85% for the fourth fiscal quarter (ending in February).
RIM expects to earn between 83 cents to 91 cents a share with revenue expects in between $3.3 billion and $3.5 billion for the current period.
The pre-booking orders cite that company will boost its market and revenue share amid worst hitting recession.
